Sqiushy Ichigo already made a guide about those lights in the documents section. But my guide is a bit different: How to make lights in Super Metroid For the light trick you have to make sure that you have a custom layer 2 bg w/o any bg pointers. Take the 'clear block' from the CRE tiletable (the one the chozo is holding) and fill the layer 2 area with it. -goto ‘View’ > ‘options’ > ‘brightness’ > ‘bright’ - this will help you a lot! then -goto ‘Edit’ > ‘Fx1’ and move the sideways scrollbar all the way to the right. You’ll see the scroll list B. Set it to ‘1C - Whacky transparencies -- DARKER’ Still layer 1 is disabled, take the very last block from the CRE - the Air tile. You’ll notice that this block is still very black while the ‘clear block’ changed to grey. Edit the bg with these two blocks as you want. The ‘light’ will be the air tile and the shadow the clear one. Feel free to edit the palette blend and such, but be careful with liquids like Lava/acid! Note: This doesn't work if the liquid setting is 'NONE' or 'UNUSED' If you want to have red lights turn on the glowing visor setting in Scroll list A. Okay that’s all for now if there are any problems please pm me. By :Bl4ck F4lcon ___________________________________
